Lawn Services With Kohler Outdoor Includes Yard Clean Up For The Spring
Lawn services provided by Kohler Outdoor include providing help with yards that have collected debris over the winter months, including fallen leaves, dead grasses and other detritus that blows in. They will rake up collected debris from the lawn and garden beds and dispose of it. Piles of debris left on the lawn can kill the emerging spring grass beneath it and also provide a nesting site for slugs and insect pests. Rake when the grass is dry, otherwise the rake may pull the grass out of the soft, wet soil.
Spring is the time to remove burlap from trees and shrubs as the weather warms. Prune away winter-killed branches to make room for new growth. Cut back spent perennials and pull up old annuals if you didn’t get around to it last fall.
In colder climates grass starts growing in April, but early spring is a good time to test the soil’s pH so that you can assemble the right amendments. New landscape or fresh seed – We advise all customers after they have had foliage, sod, or seed installed to water daily for two weeks.
Inclement weather and holidays – Working outdoors provides its ebbs and flows of busyness in our field. This will likely affect our routine services like mowing. Our routines are also affected during weeks there is a holiday such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Independence Day.
Haul debris – We want to make sure we leave your lawn looking great which may include hauling branches, leaves, or clippings. Hauling away large amounts will be an extra charge and is only available to current customers. This service is separate from our seasonal cleanups.
