Turf Treatment Starts With The First Signs Of Spring

Turf treatment should begin at the first signs of spring, and we have room on our routes for you! When the soil temperature at the surface reaches 55° F for four or five consecutive days, crabgrass begins to germinate. Seeds germinate from early spring to late summer.

Turf Treatment Routes Are Available!

It’s important to start early in the spring season in order to stave off pesky crabgrass before it has a chance to grow. We want to apply pre-emergent as soon as possible. Once crabgrass seeds, one plant can produce 150,000 seeds that will stay around for then next season.

Customers who use our turf treatment program enjoy a beautiful weed-free lawn throughout the year! Our program begins in late February through early April, and attacked crabgrass and foxglove before it can grow, as well as includes a balanced rate of granular fertilizer and spot weed control.

Additional treatments through Spring, Summer, and early Fall target more weeds, pests, and fertilizer balance throughout the season. Our turf treatment program consists of six treatment rounds in order to produce a beautiful, weed and pest-free lawn you will be proud to enjoy.

We also offer two additional turf treatment options that treat aim to prevent and cure brown patch and lime diseases. The timing of fungicide is critical and in some cases a third application may be necessary to keep your turf in premium condition.
