Turf Treatment: Best Defense Against Weeds & Pests

Turf treatment is the best defense against weeds and pests. You may be seeing weeds in your yard and if they haven’t been treated by now, it’s late…but not too late! When enrolling in our full turf program, our Kohler Lawn & Outdoor technicians will treat any current weeds in your yard at every visit throughout the season.

Our Turf Treatment Program Eliminates Weeds & Pests, And Produces Healthy, Lush Grass.

It’s not too late to sign up for our full turf treatment program even though we are finished with two of the six rounds for the year. Our current round includes insecticide. When applied to lawns, insecticide controls the amount of surface feeding insects such as fleas, ticks, aphids and sod webworms.

No one wants their lawn full of fleas and ticks, especially in homes with pets and children. We can take care of these pests at the ground level. While fleas and ticks don’t really damage your lawn, they can be harmful to pets and humans. Tick bites can be painful and transmit serious diseases such as Lyme Disease. Fleas and ticks like the woods, tall grass and bushy areas. The best way to combat fleas and ticks is to keep a regular lawn maintenance schedule and enroll in our full turf treatment program.

Aphids and sod webworms are the pest that do the most damage to your lawn. Pests that cause discoloration to your lawn, like aphids and sod webworms, are a nuisance and can leave your lawn patchy with dead spots. Aphids can create a yellowing to your turf as they feed on grass.  Sod webworms can be especially damaging to your lawn because they like to eat grass at the ground level causing patchy, irregularly shaped brown spots. It is hard to treat sod webworms because there are different solutions for each stage of their lifecycle. Our full turf treatment program covers the lifecycle of sod webworms, keeping your lawn healthy.

We know that you want your lawn to be healthy, lush, and green. For over 25 years, we have been improving the health and beauty of lawns. It’s not too late to enroll in our full turf treatment program for the year.
